"The Life of Lord Strathcona and Mount Royal" This vintage book measures 9 inches tall, six inches from binding to edge, and is two inches wide. Biography of Donald a Smith (1829 to 1914)Canadian Parlimantarian and Governor of Hudsons Bay Co. (1889 to 1914) in two volumes. This two volume book set has a wonderful marbleized inside pages. Author Beckles Willson Author of the Great Fur company and the Life and Letters of James Wolfe. Published in Boston and New York by the Houghton Mifflin Company The Riverside Press Cambridge 1915. Excellent condition with green leather and gold on the top of the pages.

The Fancy or True Sportsmans guide by an Operator,This book"The Fancy" has a forward by George Plimpton and Etchings and drawings by Randy Jones.Published by Imprint Society Barre Massachusetts in 1972.Nineteen hundred and fifty copies of Selections from The Fancy have been printed for the members of the Imprint Society by the Press of A Colish In mount Vernon New York. The text was composed in English Monotype Bell. The paper is Curtis Rag Laid text. The illustrations and the original etching,which is laid in,are by Randy Jones. The book was designed by Bert Clarke, and bound by Publishers Book Bindery, in Long Island City, New York. Signed in pen by Randy Jones, number 9. Excellent condition with original hard dust cover and leather backing. This book measures 10 inches by 7 and one quarter inches.

Alfred Thayer Mahan "Letters and Papers of Alfred Thayer Mahan", This three volume set in its original hard box cover was published in 1975 by The United States Naval Institute Annapolis, Maryland. Edited by Robert Seager ll and Doris D. Maguire. Volume one is 1847 to 1889 volume two is 1890 to 1901 and volume three is 1902 to 1914. The condition is very good except the the black label on the first volume has some wear with the two volumes near perfect.
